Dr. Kasliwal stressed on Life’s Simple Six

Dr Ravi R Kasliwal gives talk programme on Mission Save Heart 2016 to Heart Foundation and Heart Club members in Nepal on Saturday, August 13, 2016. Dr Ravi R Kasliwal, Chairman of Preventive and Clinical Cardiology, Medanta the Medicity who has arrived at Norvic to undertake a free medical checkup programme was invited by Heart Foundation and Heart Club Nepal to share the latest updates in Preventive and Clinical Cardiology. Dr Kasliwal informed that South East Asia is heading to trouble due to Non Communicable Diseases (NCDs) like Cardio Vascular diseases, chronic respiratory diseases, cancer and diabetes. As per WHO, 25% of South Asian including Nepalese are at risk of premature death from NCDs.

Dr Kasliwal also cited that UN General Assembly resolution has informed that if nothing is done on NCDs then in next 25 years, 47 trillion dollars need to be spent to control NCDs including 500 Billion dollars a year in low-middle income countries, where 80 % of deaths now occur from CVD.
Dr Kasliwal gave a new slogan” Life’s Simple Six”.

Say No to Excess Salt.
