Norvic to offer Exclusive Medical Care to Rotarians of Rotary International District 3292

Kathmandu, A memorandum of understanding was signed between Rotary International District 3292 and Norvic International Hospital in Kathmandu on 1st of October, 2018. Mr. Chintamani Bhattarai, District Governor of Rotary International and Ms. Megha Chaudhary Shakya Managing Director of Norvic International Hospital signed the MoUamidst a function. As per the MoU, Norvic would provide exclusive, specialized preventive, therapeutic and curative medical care to Rotarians and their families all over the country. The signing ceremony took place in the intercity meeting held in Lalitpur and was hosted by Rotary Club Chandragiri, Rotary Club of Kupondole and the Rotary Club of Swayambhu. The meeting was attended by past District Governors, Presidents, Office bearers of Rotary International and Norvic’s Department of Medical Oncology.

The Charter President, Rotary Club of Durbar Marg and the Head of Norvic’s Medical Oncology Dept., Prof. Dr. Rajendra Prasad Baral delivered a keynote lecture on General Cancer and Prof. Dr. Achala Vaidya, Chief Consultant Gynecologist at Norvic gave a detailed scenario on Cancer screening for early detection of Breast, Ovary and Cervical Cancers. Rotarian Dr. Niraj Shrestha gave lecture on Postmenopausal Osteoporosis and Vitamin-D Deficiency in Cancer.

As per the agreement both Norvic and Rotary International have agreed to closely work in organising special medical camps and talk shows for the benefit of the society.
