NeSA 12th International Conference on “Science and Technology: Way Towards Sustainability”

The Nepalese Students Association (NeSA) at New Mexico State University (NMSU), Las Cruces, NM is going to organize a virtual twelfth international conference with a theme “Science and Technology: Way Towards Sustainability”. The students and guest from several universities of USA and Nepal will present their research work in the program. The program starts at 8:00 am (MDT) on Saturday, April 17, 2021.

Nirajan Paudel, the Conference Director of NeSA said, “the program preparation is almost in final stage and this year we are having online conference, so we are happy that we have wide range of presenters and guests from all around the globe.” He added that the theme of conference is suitable for the eternal progress of developing country like Nepal, where planning of infrastructures demands the sustainability and wide vision that could address the future demand of our country Nepal for decade and centuries.

The conference invites Dr. Surya Raj Acharya as keynote speaker and Mahabir pun as a special guest in the program. The NeSA President Sharad Mahatara said, “we are very excited to welcome our distinguish guests and are very hopeful that our audience and diaspora family will get benefit from the talk of expert guest speakers.” The conference also invites Dr. Shambhu Ghimire, Dr. Lujendra Ojha, Er. Ram Raj Sharma, Dr. Marinne Karplus, Dr. Shyam Kattel, and Dr. Menuka Karki in Guest Talk Series.

In second session, the undergraduate, graduate students, and postdoc participate in poster and talk presentation. The advisor of the organization Dr. Deepak Subedi said, “we encourage participants from all fields to participate in the conference and share their experience how they have been using science and technology from their level to contribute a sustainable world.”
