Construction materials distributed to Sunsari’s flood-stricken

Itahari, Sept 1: The Nepal Tamang Ghedung, Itahari on Thursday provided construction materials to the residents of various wards struck by flooding in the sub metropolitan city.

The construction materials were handed over for the first time to those displaced by recent flooding in Sunsari. The people rendered homeless after the Budhiganga river breached its banks were provided with roof building materials, cemented poles among other construction materials to build emergency shelters, Tamang Ghedung’s Lok Bahadur Tamang said.

According to Dhedung’s Joint Secretary, Mohan Tamang, the materials were handed over to nine households including the families of Nilam Dhimal of Itahari – 3, Abhisekh Limbu, Radhadevi Shrestha, Sunita Tamang, Parvati Yadav and Sommaya Tamang of Itahari – 10. RSS
